Responsibilities
Platform / Application Support and Monitoring.
Coordination and global support of Platform Clients.
R package bug tracking, debugging and performance monitoring.
Manage users and groups, including the use of a centralized directory for authentication
Administer Fine-grained access control of R projects and Data assets.
Devise best practices of ‘R’ programming and the ability to enforce them with the clients.
Execute code walk-thru with the development team (R& Python) and analyze it with critical thinking.
Instrument Resource utilization on the platform and plan future capacity needs based on the pipelined projects.
Report to platform ownership with various reports that depict the platform usage, chargeback, adoption, capacity planning etc.
Red hat Enterprise Linux - Understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation
Abreast with the latest Rev-R and Cran-R packages and provide assistance to clients in advising them with an emphasis on performance
Requirement
Shell and PERL Scripting
Data sources and Databases connectivity support and maintenance
Knowledge of R-Studio and Python
Experience
8+ years of R Development and Linux administration experience.
Education
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science/ Engineering or any related courses
Language
Reasonably proficient in written and verbal English communication
